Wear at the sleeve end causes high line pressure leading to broken drums, pistons or other parts, as well as restricted converter/lubrication flow. Wear at the spring end of the bore allows low line pressure and lube/TC fluid to exhaust leading to a burned converter clutch and premature bushing failure.
