K3 clutches in Aisin AW TF-60SN (VW/Audi 09G, 09K, 09M) and BMW 6F21WA units are applied in third, fifth and Reverse gears in conjunction with other clutch packs. As the K3 clutch control valve oscillates and strokes over time, bore deterioration results, which prevents proper hydraulic control of the K3 clutch pack.
